I've always enjoyed James Patterson's books, especially those he has written on his own. They are incredibly easy to read and Alex Cross is a wonderful creation.
I was intrigued though when I came across this book.
This was a well written love story, you go along with the story, knowing that something terrible must have happened (I mean a wife with a heart condition!!), otherwise Matt wouldn't be on his own, but I wasn't completely prepared for the full horror. I didn't think he'd go as far as he did. For Matt to loose Suzanne was one thing, but to loose his son as well, that was almost too much. I was a good read though
