Jaz and her crew find themselves in Australia, trying to prevent a Gnome attack on a NASA station. Jaz and Vayl have finally got it together (there are a lot of meaningful looks, whispered conversations due to Jaz coming down with a "rash" caused by the mental passenger she picked up in the last book) - so still no sex.
There something about this book that just doesn't hang right me with. The story seems to be lacking something (there's too much going on that Jaz doesn't know about - which is necessary). I still don't understand why they were heading off to Morocco at the end.
Don't get me wrong, it's still a really good read, the humour is still there. The interaction in the team is great fun. Bergman is growing as a character. Astral was great (Hello!). Just the story wasn't quite there.
A bit disappointed.
