Midnight in Death - J.D. Robb A quick little story, set within hours of the end of [b:Holiday in Death|238125|Holiday in Death (In Death, #7)|J.D. The difference with this story is that you know very early on who the killer is, and who they plan on killing, as a list of victims is left with the first body. Mira and Dallas are both on the list, as the killer is someone they put away 3 years earlier.

This guy is someone who likes to test his victims limits, to see how much they can stand before he finally kills them. The question is, will he get to Mira and Dallas? How do you get to someone that has a police guard?

Roarke is as hot as always - I loved it when Eve tried to get him to wear a security bracelet. His point was well made (I've never asked you to change, so don't ask me). God I LOVE that man.
