This was good, an interesting story which covers cults and how people become involved in them. The story hits close to home for Tempe as her sister becomes increasingly distant, you can see what's coming but you just can't stop it.The end brings up an interesting point. This was published in 1999 and touches on the whole end of the world/end of the millenia vibe that was rife at that time.
It was nice to see Tempe outside of Canada as well, at her home in Carolina. Also nice to see her get closer to Ryan. I'll definately be moving onto the third book in the series.
