I really didn't know what to expect from this one. I'd put it off a couple of times. But once I started it, it just flew. It completely drew me in. I could feel Aislinns fear, was dazzled by Keenan and I fell for Seth completely. Now, I haven't ready many faery stories, but the idea of the different courts, of the Summer King looking for his Queen quite a neat one. Beira has to be one of the nastiest baddies I've come across for a while (at the end I was thinking "I'm melting, I'm melting"), complete bloody psyco.
My heart went out to Donia, as she so clearly was still in love with Keenan. Just took a while longer to figure out that he felt the same way. But where in the fairy tales does it say that the King and Queen have to live happily ever after?
I want it to work out for Seth and Aislinn so badly. This is a series I could get seriously engrossed in.
